Question by The Wise Cat Named Binky: Is the “Water Jacket” on an Engine ONLY in the Head, or does it go all the way down through the Block?
Someone suggested i may have a “Cracked Water Jacket.” I always though ti just had a blown head Gasket, and i thought i had it Sealed once.. until my Intake Manifold (most likely) blew (Weird.) So i think im gonna get a new head, since the Head Gasket has to get changed anyway (Ill get a Fel Pro.)
Does the “Water Jacket” go down through the Block, as i think im gonna get a new Head, but i wonder how accurate that may have been?
Ive always had a very Pressurized Cooling System since the Head Gasket has been “Blown,” Ive smelled the Gas and seen it out the Expansion Tank.
