Going through some information to write-up right now I came across a great deal of awesome things online. This particular story is actually simply just one of several I will be putting up regarding mens clothing in the week. I am trying to get the blog up-to-date more frequently than I had been during the past. Inform me what you think relating to this story and what you should want to discover regarding mens clothing later on.
Franciscan Center urgently needs Men’s Clothes & Toiletries for the Poor
Baltimore (PRWEB) November 1, 2005
Don’t toss out those good, useable men’s seasonal clothing items and those little bottles of shampoo and lotion you have collected from your traveling; please donate them to the Franciscan Center.
The Franciscan Center has a critical need for used and new men’s clothes and toiletry items to fill its clothing bank in order to continue providing emergency assistance to those in need. The Franciscan Center is asking businesses, faith communities, and individuals to respond to this urgent request; please help keep our clothing closet filled.
Needed items include, new and clean, used items for men like t-shirts, dress shirts long and short sleeve shirts, under garments, work pants, dress pants, suits , jackets, ties, winter outerwear, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, deodorant, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, razors, shaving cream, tooth paste, toothbrushes, and wash clothes. Sample sizes are ideal because many of the men are homeless or transient.
In an effort to provide continuous service, the Franciscan Center is reaching out to the community to keep the clothing closet shelves full. Each month we provide clothing and toiletry items to over 700 men who find themselves in crisis from unemployment, severe disabilities and/or homelessness.
Father Aaron M. Dowdell, the Franciscan Center Executive director says, “Our Clothing bank is free to all clients and gives men an opportunity to acquire essential items that they need for life and to regain entry into the workplace. The men who visit the Center are fathers, brother and sons and we try to treat them with respect and dignity as they work on overcoming their personal crisis.”
The Franciscan Center is an emergency outreach program that provides a variety of programs, including a hot meal each weekday, a food pantry, clothing service and AIDS and emergency outreach.
Additional information about the Center can be found:http://www.franciscancenterbaltimore.org.

Q&A:
Question by Bekkah: Is this wrong from a Christian standpoint?
More specifically….is this wrong from a Pentecostal standpoint. Women are not to wear pants in the Pentecostal religion because “pants are mens’ clothing and the bible prohibits women to wear mens’ clothing.” so what if a pentecostal lady always wears skirts or dresses in public….but then at home she wears pants and shorts. Would that be then considered wrong? It sounds kind of hypocritical to me.

I don’t see why not. I find no problem wearing pants at all. This could easily be a verse that is more specific to that particular culture. If not then I better throw away my tshirts that are from the men’s department.
