Chinos Continue To Set Mens Clothing Trend

I am in a small bustle at this time but I want to have this on here. It is not necessarily simple to stay with a perfect update regimen but I wish to allow it to become consistent. Hopefully someday I might write on this website even more frequently. At the moment I just want to display a fascinating article I found on mens clothing. It is moderately interesting.

Chinos Continue To Set Mens Clothing Trend

Spring/Summer 2011 has seen the rise of the chino. Long gone is the stereotypical straight leg safe Granddad attire chino. In has come a new breed of cool. Drop crotch, twisted seams, skinny, carrot and a multitude of adjectives more than you will ever understand. Coming in an array of colours, there really is a pair of chinos to suit anybody’s taste or body shape.

The public have spoken with their wallets, and are splashing the cash on this season’s hottest item. Some retail stores are actually reporting sales figures of chinos that are just as strong as denim! Quite a turnaround for the once un-cool trouser.

And that is the beauty of fashion… One minute it is seen as out, and then it can undergo a transformation in its image either by design or who has worn it. This gives the product a new lease of life. Over the years, a product can have many peaks and troughs of popularity. What is ‘in fashion at the moment’ will be completely different to what is ‘in’ in 10 years time.

Who would have thought check shirts would be in 10 years ago? Not unless you are a lumberjack.. Or what about denim shirts? These have also been revitalised of late. If you go out on a weekend anywhere in the country to a bar or pub you will see what’s in fashion. All fashion is; somebody copying what they perceive to be is ‘cool’. And that is exactly what the retailer is doing. Making/following a trend to then replicate with their product, to entice the fashion hungry customer.

So what is in store for the chino? Well the chino are staying put for a while yet. Sales are strong, so they will still be on the high street until something else takes its shelf place. And what will that be? Whatever the customer fancies! Supposedly the next ‘big thing’ will be the brogue shoe.. Perfect teamed with a pair of chinos.. This will help keep sales strong for chinos.

But who really knows? You will have to wait and see. By absorbing today’s media – TV, football, the X Factor, celeb magazines, newspapers and the like we all take in a vast amount of information and we do not even realise this most of the time. Following fashion will always leave you behind. To get ahead of the game you have to be brave. Tomorrows fashion is happening today.
